What to expect in branch


We're open for service and MOT.

During Tier 4 restrictions Sales is temporarily closed.

We are still open for servicing, tyres, repairs and MOT testing.

In order to keep everyone safe we've made some important changes which we would like you to be aware of.

Who can and who can't visit Richard Nash Cars?

We would love to welcome everyone to our branches, but we must politely ask that you do not visit us if any of the following applies to you:

  • If you or somebody you have been in close contact with in the past 14 days has been diagnosed with COVID-19.
  • If you or a member of your household currently exhibit any symptoms of COVID-19. www.nhs.uk COVID-19 Symptoms
  • If you are currently self-isolating.
  • If you or a member of your household are in an ‘at risk’ group.
  • If you have been advised to ‘shield’ yourself.

If one or more of these statements applies to you then we may still be able to help with your enquiry. Contact us by phone or by email to discuss your options.

When visiting one of our branches we are asking that you please come alone where possible or in a group of no more than two people.

The steps we are taking to keep everyone safe

Just some of the changes we've made to keep you and our staff safe, here's what you can expect during you visit to Richard Nash Cars.

Contact surfaces are being disinfected regularly

Contact surfaces such as door handles, chip & pin machines and furniture are regularly cleaned throughout the day and between customers. This includes vehicle door handles, controls and keys.

Remaining 2 metres apart

We’ve changed the layout of our branches where possible to allow a distance of 2 metres between everyone. Please don’t be offended if we don’t offer a friendly handshake! We have also installed 'sneeze screens' in our branches where necessary.

Hand sanitiser available for customers and staff

We encourage our staff to regularly wash their hands and we are also providing hand sanitiser for both staff and customers who wish to use it.

Temperature checks for staff

You can be confident any member of our team is symptom free. We measure each member of staff’s temperature at random times and ensure anyone who displays symptoms self-isolates in line with the latest government guidelines.​

Restrictions on the number of people in branch

We are operating with a reduced number of staff across all branches. We also ask that when you visit us, you please come alone where possible or in a party of no more than two people (this includes children).​

Face masks to be warn by staff and customers

We would like you to be as comfortable as possible when visiting us, but under Government guidelines face coverings are mandatory in retail outlets and we ask that you comply with this whilst in the showroom, unless you have an exemption. Staff are also required to wear masks when with customers.
